Lay service with choral music by Voci de Donne. The women's vocal ensemble Voci di Donne of Saint-Remy-les-Chevreuse is a group of 13 women (including Rachael Epstein) who have been singing together since January 2005. They sang for us at our service in May 2010 and we are delighted that they will be returning again on February 12. Karen Kyker Frey and a team of members of UUFP will be creating a lay service of which the music will be the major element. The ensemble's repertoire includes sacred and secular music from the Middle Ages and Renaissance up through contemporary pieces. Our religion is a spiritual journey, and each of us is an explorer. Reason is our map and conscience is our compass. (from the website of the Rosslyn Hill Unitarian Chapel in London). Whether you are new to Unitarian Universalism or you are thinking it is time to renew some of your thinking about why you define yourself as a UU, take advantage of this opportunity to explore religious issues and learn more about our faith. UU Basics Is a two-part workshop, based on UUA materials but adapted to our particular situation as Anglophones living abroad. It is usually scheduled on two consecutive Sundays. speaker: Dorcy
